Responsible Gold, a blockchain-powered ecosystem for traceable and ethically sourced gold, has appointed Sakhila Mirza president.
In her new role, Mirza will help the Houston-based company define its operational goals, develop key performance indicators, expand industry engagement, and introduce new offerings, including a fund closely aligned with the firm’s sourcing principles.
Mirza comes from the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA), where she served as deputy CEO and general counsel for over a decade, spearheading responsible sourcing and standards development initiatives.
“Rather than just reading about it or having discussions on it, actually being involved—rolling your sleeves up and leading on it—this felt like the right opportunity,” Mirza said in a statement.
She has also been named portfolio manager at Pandion Asset Management, an SEC-registered investment adviser.
